Woodford Oil proudly markets to customers in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, & Pennsylvania.

Woodford Oil Company is seeking a Professional Propane Service Technician to join our team of passionate and professional individuals committed to customer service. This individual will be responsible for the delivery, setting and installation of propane tanks, outside lines, conducting system tests consistent with company standards and maintaining required documentation.


Ensure that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met and maintain zero preventable accidents

• Maintain safety and compliance records

• Perform tank installations or removal and operate a crane truck and tank set dolly

• Install exterior gas lines, conduct system tests and get ready for inspection

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of propane installation and service

• Find and repair leaks at customer sites

• Operate a trencher for installation of gas lines

• Repair and maintain Propane tanks and cylinders

• Secure truck and equipment consistent with security policy

• Operate and maintain service vehicle in accordance with Company and Government regulations; follow dispatch orders and procedures

• Deliver fuel as required and meet established performance standards

• Work a flexible schedule with after-hour emergency call-outs

• Communicate clearly and effectively to convey information to new and existing customers

• Maintain a professional image and superior customer service

• Notify supervisor of any issues that might impact safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, or any other established goals and standards

• Succeed in a team-oriented environment


Must be at least 21 years old

• High School diploma or equivalent GED

• Class B or C Commercial Driver's License with Haz-Mat endorsement

• Unrestricted driver's license

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate

• Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds

• Willing to periodically work extended hours during peak times
